MEDUSA

-even a Goddess has bad hair days-

Medusa was a Libyan then Greek Goddess, once a beauty. Out of jealousy, Athena turned the hair of Medusa into living snakes and gave her the curse of turning into stone whoever met her gaze; however, the true meaning of her destructive nature lies deeper. Like the scales on the snakes, we must destruct to have new life, so Medusa is also considered a Goddess of death and rebirth.
